Have you seen that uproar over the little girls who are like ages 6-8 or so and they did a number on "Single Ladies"?

I've been really appalled by this recent onslaught of youngsters trying to be sexy. I'll give to to Rihanna cause she's older and had that shit go down in her life but Miley, though 17, is still too young. BritSpears and all them other stars didn't do it until they were at least 19, 20. It's only a few years but a big diff IMO.

My roommate and I had a big argument about this whole thing; she's totally OK with it cause she thinks that's just how society is and I was getting upset that she's OK sexualizing young girls.

But yes, awards like MTV's is clearly not legit. It's like class elections where people who are most popular win, not cause they can do anything great for the school. But sometimes I wonder if that's how a lot of shit is, cause sometimes I think the Oscars/Grammys/Emmys aren't very accurate on who is best. It's all so subjective.

I was a bit taken back from the sudden change in music style that Rhianna showcased. Granted, Rhianna's older and experienced, so I guess it's acceptable. I liked Rhianna's earlier songs (except for Pon de Replay..kinda weird) which I thought were fairly innocent until her recent song came up. I've got nothing against her, just thought of mentioning her as an example of the media changing and molding pop stars into the typical "I wanna suck your dick" sex tease.
Miley is just ugh -.-; I don't know where to begin with her.

I like(d) Miley. I think she is just making poor decisions. She's like Jessica Simpson to me; great voice for ballads/country, but not pop. Miley could've totally done a Taylor Swift and been good but I guess she doesn't want to. Oh well, people like her, I guess.
