movie review: Eragon

Watched "Eragon" last night with stompboxer. He subjected himself to the movie as a favor to me because of the harsh past week :p

hahaha. one of the things that i hated about the movie was the fact that eragon saved the day. it did not happen the way the movie made it look like. his slaying of durza was accidental at best. read the book. you'll hate the movie. hahaha :D

I read the detailed summary of the book over at Wikipedia. Onga, ang daming binago. Natawa lang ako dun sa part about a sage appearing before Eragon and asking him to go somewhere for more training. Obi-Wan Kenobi anyone? :p

when i heared that they are going to make a movie out of eragon, i was excited to watch it. but after hearing bad reviews, i think ill wait for the dvd copy. :)

but i hope they will do better with the eldest. like with hp, i did not like the sorcerer's stone at all, compared with its other sequels.

btw, the book is good. i have both, so you are welcome to borrow mine. :)
