you know how to manipulate Photoshop CS? i still don't get it e. :(

i totally agree with that exponential traffic thing. i leave makati at 6 am, i arrive in manila in under 30 minutes. i leave at 7, i get there after an hour. haha

hallo! I'm glad you're doing well with your first week.

Oh, I've still got some of my stuff in japanese 10 and 11. I can lend them to you if you want. ^_^ Don't worry, I had the same expectations but my japanese is still bad (at least in speaking). But you will be able to write and read well. Ganbatte yo, Padme-chan! Sino nga pala prof ninyo?

Yup, i agree you watch those highschool anime (kahit CCS, pwede na yun). Para makuha mo yung grasp ng intro and basic stuff. Japanese sentence construction is really easy--parang tagalog. Subject-object-verb lang siya, kakabitan mo na lang ng mga connecting phrases na wa, wo at ni (which you'll learn how as you progress). Naalala ko si Gaitan-sensei. Eto kasi example niya.

John eats sushi.

In Japanese,

John-san was sushi wo tabemasu.

Di ba, madali? ^_~

Oohh... can I borrow the Jap 10 and 11 stuff? ^-^ I need all the help I can get. Mukang mahihirapan din ako sa speaking. I can't get the accent right *sheepish* Pero talaga? Aabot ako sa read and write well sa Jap 10? Cool ^-^ Prof namin si Pareno-sensei. Shaneday Pareno? Bago lang talaga.

Please pa-check:

I am a college student studying biology.

Watashi wa daigakusee narat-te seebutsu-gaku.

Wahaha. Hindi ko na alam kung ano pa sasabihin ko sa intro.

Sure, let's meet up some time para makuha mo. Hindi ko pa ma-organize notes ko kaya sobrang gulo lang.

Okay lang kahit di mo makuha yung accent. Not expected talaga na makuha mo agad. Medyo nasalized ang "ga" (pronounced as "nga"), and "su" pag nahuhuli ay silent u, n as in "enpitsu" (pencil) is pronounced as "empitsu" at ang "hi" is pronounced as "hsi" are among the few "anomalies. Although not all profs follow that. Depende kasi kung paano ituturo sa inyo ng prof mo yan. Kay Gaitan-sensei ko nakuha yung accent, ginagaya ko siya.

I am a college student studying biology.

You can say this as:

Watashi wa senbetsugaku no gakusei desu.

Literally, this means "I am a student of biology."

Keep it simple, di nila ie-expect na magsalita ka ng fluent Japanese. Kaya nga pumasok ka sa class na yun. ;) Medyo awkward kasi yung sinabi mo. Literally, yung ginawa mo meant "I biology studying college student". Hehe.

Sa intro, you can say this:

Hajimemashite . Watashi wa desu. Watashi wa senbetsugaku no gakusei desu. Ni ju issai desu. Doozo ( ... )
