The MRT ride is now all but quiet because of audio that assaults you as soon as the train leaves the station. Funny thing is, I'm okay with the ads, as they're the ordinary stuff that you'd hear whether you're riding the bus or maybe a jeep. Yes, this is really stupid. Iglesia ni Cristo uses that verse to show that a prophet will come from the Philippines (that prophet being their founder Manalo).

Really? I thought the INC were very stringent with their Bible study. Would have figured them to be well-versed in their Biblical history.

Well, I can't speak of them further without any bias, but that is indeed one of their "crazier" doctrines (and one of their key ones in fact). Something about the "last messenger" prophesied as coming from the "far east".

Oh, I'm not a fan of the MRT tips either. :)
