Summer Homework

Ah summer, I love it so much, yet at the same time if I had to trade it for year-round school I wouldn't even hesitate.  I'm not a fan of the summer slide.  In years past I've gotten the kids bridge books and had them read 20 minutes a day but they didn't like it and we usually stopped doing it midway through.  Because I am lazy ( Read more... )

I think this is GREAT. When we did stuff over the summer, mom always took us to historical monuments or museums and we would be expected to talk about them and all.

Shit, we just threw dirt clods at each other and got stuck in half built houses. And I don't think my mom ever expected me to talk, lol!

Hmm. My summer work was something like yelling, "One, one, let's have some fun!" just before jumping into the pool. That counts as math, right?
