Y'all know I've been having trouble with my Thursday night writer's group for a few years now.  Chief among my complaints is that every time I read a section set in Iraq I'm told I'm too preachy.  And, lj, I hate to admit that you were right when you told me all those months ago to quit.  But you were.  So right ( Read more... )

Sounds like a great writing group -- why would you ever want to quit such a supportive and encouraging group of people?
