There were few things more inviting than Jim's body, bare-chested, back muscles pulled taut with each extension. Leonard stood for a moment, just watching before he stepped further into the room.
The box from Paula went onto the table. His boots slipped off his feet, and Leonard sat down on the floor next to Jim, stretching his legs in front of him. "Keep going," he told him, laughter in his eyes. "Don't let me stop you."
Jim let out a breathless bark of laughter, finishing off at a hundred before lowering himself to the floor one last time. He exhaled slowly, turning on his side to grin at Bones, propped up on one elbow. "Glad I could entertain you." Jim just looked at him, sitting there in his medical blues, that expression drawing him in.
So the natural thing to do was to scramble up to his knees, his palm warm as he cupped Bones' jaw and leaned in. The kiss was warm and lingering, Jim kneeling next to Bones, exploring his mouth slowly. He pulled back just as slowly, his movements lazy as he nosed against him. "Hello."
Jim's skin was glowing, the way it did whenever he got done with something energetic. The man thrived on being active, and while Leonard would try and keep up sometimes, he acknowledged that he'd never match Jim for sheer strength. "Hello," he answered, kissing Jim back with an unexpected tenderness.
It wasn't like he hadn't just seen Jim that morning, but every time he walked in here, Jim made him feel like he was the most wanted man on board this ship. "You done or do I get more of a show?"
"It's more fun if you're playing, too." He let his hand fall to Bones' chest, rucking up his shirt to slip beneath it before getting distracted by that achingly sweet kiss. His eyes were alight from the sheer need and want when they paused for breath, along with a touch of curiosity.
Jim sat on his heels next to Bones, wondering at the look in his eyes. "The next show involves you getting just as sweaty as I am. Interested?" He couldn't stop touching Bones, just his hand stroking his side beneath the shirt for now, but that look on his face told Jim maybe that was just what Bones needed, too.
