[There's an irritable sigh, then Ed's voice comes through, with a bit of a whine to it. Ein is whimpering a little anxiously.]

Is this one of those event thingies again? Ed doesn't like it, no no. Edward can't feel anything! She tripped over something, and it didn't hurt!

Ed's been checking the network, alot of people have a similiar problem.

Just because you can't feel pain doesn't mean your body isn't getting damaged. Avoid getting hurt even more now than you would usually.

Nicolas Flamel? There's only ancient writings of him, mostly destroyed. He's supposedly the father of alchemy. He was years before our country's history was established, and supposedly near-godlike in power. Some say he never died.

No, we've never met Nicolas Flamel. But our teacher taught us his philosophies. The black marking on the back of Ed's coat? That's a Flamel symbol, his sign. I have one on the coat I sometimes wear too, but I may end up getting it tattooed on my upper arm at some point. The mark I had... faded.

... you know, I always thought it was some sort of high-generation output battery. Zedd said he didn't sense anything magical about them, so it may be that they're working purely through science. I don't know if the Voices have anything to do with this or not.

Ed's not alone, she has Ein. But if Al says so, Ed can move somewhere else, maybe.

Huh. That might be it, and it would let let the voices keep track of us~! Like we're rogue bounties that haven't been captured yet!

Just until the week is out. I've have had third-degree burns on my hands from the teapot if Vincent hadn't told me I was burning myself.

Do you think the Voices can see through the PCD's? They do do odd things sometimes!
