Holidays are great - I've not moaned for ten days, and if I have - it's been results anxiety & the weather (too hot!).
Rebels & Martyrs at the National Gallery is ace - it's nice to see something in thematic rather than chronological/stylistic order.
Neal's Yard are too expensive but their pumpkin & polenta pie

I think Jo is starting to arrange the next one now, so you could suggest it to her. That said, wouldn't a river pub crawl basically be the District Line? Also some of the stops on those lines are bereft of decent pubs (i.e. Temple)
A better bet might be a walking route, which occasionally crosses the river depending on where the better bars are? Start on the south, a few pubs along the river, cross a bridge, a few pubs on the north side of the river, back across to the south?

Are you coming to the party tomorrow? Fabians haven't really always lived up to their potential - I left about five years ago, though I've rejoined since I moved to London and it's worth it because of events and so on - there's the nutter contingent and more problematically the networkers who are there for what they can get, not what they can contribute. Still, the principle is good.
