The weather is indeed very awesome! As for the applications device, that'd be cool but yes, apparently that will happen in 3000s rather than anytime soon for who knows why. Oh, I definitely agree on the whole I don't like how they get treated better because their clothes are sizes smaller, and how I must be anti-social and not fun to talk to because I don't enjoy Indian music or looking like an idiot on the dance floor. seeing I'm pretty much the same way and I'm looked at as a weirdo in my whole family who love indian music and dancing and encouraging the kids to show their talents concerning entertainment. I do wonder, would it be less of a big deal or more if the hindu, or muslim, married someone other then their own race seeing it wouldn't be the religion you are completely against so wouldn't it be less big of a deal? Somehow I can't see it as a less of a big deal seeing it's still another religion than your own. Darn asian-ness.
I have this cousin who HAS to dance at everyone's wedding. She just assumes that she's so good, everyone naturally wants her there. Of course, we've been just abstractly planning my older sister's wedding, and I'm going to be master of ceremonies, and we've already figured out how to make sure my cousin will not be dancing at it. And no, I think the fact that she was Hindu, of all things, did make a bigger difference than it would if she were Christian. I actually think Jewish would be worse than Christian, although I don't understand why. Brown people are so weird.
Ooh, how will you have her not dance? lol So race is not much of an issue as it is just the fact that she was Hindu? Anyway, I do agree, compared to those that are not totally religious nor traditional, south-asians are weird seeing majority of them are either religious or just traditional which really stinks.
We're either going to lie and say that there's no dancing/entertainment planned, or we'll tell her that it was all orchestrated months in advance and she's too late. I think it's stupid that the two religions are so against each other, especially considering that their traditions are so similar.
Doesn't matter. My mom was like, "No. We're not talking about it. No." When we suggested that Melissa would marry a Mexican (as a joke).
