I have 5 DVDs of what my friend deemed to be the 'best of' bits from SNL. It's a little hit and miss but for the most part, not bad.

I like early SNL and it was still sort of funny when I was in high school.

But I attempted to watch a recent episode and think I grinned, maybe, four times.

Still not as bad as MAD TV, however.
