Immediately below the Youtube screen there is the word "embed" followed by a bar of text that you can highlight and copy to your LJ.

It's one of those things that if you didn't know to look for it, it's not hard to miss.

I don't usually read any of the comments or the other stuff that lives on the bottom of the page and someone told me once.
