Hired to love you. Chapter 7
The sun was shining brightly, enhancing the color of their faces. Kyuhyun thought that Sungmin looked mesmerizing under the sun. The sun made his face glow and his hair looked silkier. Overall, Kyuhyun thought that Sungmin was beautiful. Sungmin felt Kyuhyun staring at him from the other park bench and turned to face Kyuhyun. "I know i look really pretty.. But quit staring will you? It's getting on my nerves" Sungmin didn't like Kyuhyun staring at him like that, he felt uncomfortable and it made him wonder if Kyuhyun was actually really falling for him. "Sungmin, you shitbrain. He's probably just wondering how a guy can be prettier than a woman. Nothing else. Quit thinking, you poophead." Sungmin reprimanded himself. He had to stop thinking about Kyuhyun. If he did fall for Kyuhyun, he would just be making Kyuhyun's job easier and Sungmin wanted to make life tough for Kyuhyun. Sungmin wasn't the same person he had been for the past few years, he had changed and he knew it. But he didn't make any attempts to become his old self again. Sungmin preferred his new self, to him, he seemed stronger and definitely more obstinate. He had after all, decided that no one was going to play him for a fool again, he was going to stand up for himself. Seeing Sungmin deep in thought, Kyuhyun moved from the bench he was sitting on to Sungmin's bench. "Sir.. You seem rather deep in thought. Is anything bothering you?" A smirk formed on Sungmin's lips. "Yes Kyuhyun, something is indeed bothering me. Would you help me to get rid of this bothersome headache?" Sungmin gave Kyuhyun his cutest pleading eyes. "He just needs to say yes." Sungmin thought to himself, snickering as he did. "I'll do anything for you, sir. that's what i'm here for." Kyuhyun replied pounding his fist against his chest. ""Good then. Please get out of my sight. You're a pest. You've been bothering me ever since you started working in the mansion. I hate you for being such a scum and a liar. So, you should just get lost. No one needs you on earth. You're like trash! Unwanted garbage!" Kyuhyun didn't expect Sungmin to say things like that, he blinked many times to hold back his tears before replying. "I didn't know i was such a bother to you, sir. I guess you're right. I am a pest. I'm unwanted. Even my father abandoned me." Kyuhyun said laughing at his realisation. Sungmin felt bad, he never meant to sound so mean but somehow, he got carried away. He was releasing all his anger and frustration on Kyuhyun and he had hurt Kyuhyun bad. "So much for trying to be mean.." Sungmin thought to himself, thinking of ways to apologise to Kyuhyun. "Kyuhyun-ah.. I'm sorr.." Sungmin turned to apologise to Kyuhyun, only to find Kyuhyun gone. "Damn. He left. Shit." Sungmin fished his phone out of his pocket and dialled Kyuhyun's number. "Pick up your phone please. Please, i'm sorry! I didn't mean what i said.. Okay fine, i did. But i said it out of anger" Sungmin prayed hard for Kyuhyun to pick up his call, but Kyuhyun had his phone switched off.
Kyuhyun walked away form the park, his tears threatening to fall. He was hoping that Sungmin could see that he was being true. Kyuhyun made a vow to himself that he would never hurt Sungmin the way Mr.Lee senior wanted him to but now, Sungmin didn't even trust him. In fact, Sungmin didn't even want him near. He was just trash. Unwanted garbage as Sungmin had said. Before he knew it, Kyuhyun had walked inside an apartment building, he entered the lift and pressed the button to highest floor. He needed to get away from the world and the rooftop was the best place to do that. Reaching the top floor of the building, Kyuhyun pushed open the door leading to the rooftop. Kyuhyun walked to the edge of the building and looked down at the people walking below. He closed his eyes before he willed his body to take a plunge. "Unwanted garbage should be thrown away. It wouldn't be good if the world gets contaminated by garbage. Soon, the world would be rid of one piece of garbage. They wouldn't have use for this piece of garbage anyway. This is for the best." Kyuhyun screamed out loud before he felt a split second of sharp pain and total darkness enveloped him.
