Very nice mix! But I really want to hear the explanation for how this ship came to be. Is Cameron supposed to be a female John Watson, or is that thinking in the wrong direction?

It came to be after the first or second episode of this season -- the one where Thirteen left and Chase propositioned her and they basically turned Thirteen (who could be an amazing character but is misused a lot) into Cameron. I was so annoyed by the whole thing I decided I had to find somewhere new (better!) to put Cameron (who has always been my favourite character on the show).

It's more that Holmes is a younger House. As far as Watson goes, I think he and Cameron would get along great and could bond over respective relationships with Sherlock. Anybody in a relationship with Holmes (or House, for that matter) needs someone else who gets it when he's at his worst. Sherlock would like Cameron because she is like Watson, yes, and because, with her past, she understands him better than most women. She can play his game.

House, Watson, and Chase are all in the thinking of this mix -- I love complicated relationships best!
