Lucas couldn't believe it. The first day in Genessia was easy enough to write off as a dream. Even the second day, he was able to convince himself that he would wake up back home.

But three days in a row?

It was definitely time for a nice jog in the park to clear his mind.

Lucas scurried to catch up with the suit guy. "Okay, Providence, what kind of pay do you get chasing down a robot in the 'city of the future' anyways?"

"I mean, maybe we could work something out." He raised both his eyebrows in a hopeful look in the man's direction.

"Quite a bit." Six gave a small smirk. "What kind of weapons do you have?"

Lucas raised both of his hands, eyebrows still raised.

"Just your fists? Or do you have some sort of magic abilities?" Cue skeptical eyebrow. "The robot has some very thick armor."

Lucas glanced aside and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Err, not magical powers, no."

"In my world-" He hesitated, the statement still sounded odd. "-I was part of a global origination that investigates paranormal activities. I'm...uh, telekinetic sensitive."

"Telekinesis?" Well, that was tame. He'd been expecting something more shocking. "How much can you lift at any one time? How much control can you maintain?"

He blinked a few times. Lucas didn't recall signing up for an interrogation, but the man clearly knew what he was doing and Lucas wasn't going to mess with him. This time.

"About fifty-ish pounds? And pretty well, I might add."

Six put a hand to his chin. "Fifty pounds isn't much against this thing. It weighs at least three hundred if I had to guess. However, it does have a habit of taking metal that's on hand and making it into assistants. Those are generally much lighter..."

"Hey, if it has limbs, I could hold onto them or something?" Lucas shrugged.

"It could work. Whadda say, Providence?"

"That would work. And the name's 'Six'. You are...?"

Lucas extends a hand in Six's direction. "Lucas. Do we need to get this job from this center-y thing or what?"

Six didn't take the hand, instead reaching into his pocket. "I have the posting here." He pulled out the slip of paper, no bigger than two standard-sized index cards which had the details including the pay. Split evenly, it would be more than decent compensation. "However, you might want to take a look at other options as well."

Play it off smooth, Lucas. He quickly reached up and scratched the back of his head like he meant to do that all along. "Well, yeah. How many crazy robots can one city have anyways. It's good to have options."

"Not just that. There are jobs other than bounty hunting." He looked at the younger man. "No offense, but you look like you need a weapon, too. I doubt you have enough on you to get your first choice either."

Lucas brushed it off, "I can use a pipe or something. It can't be any worse than tangling with a werewolf."
