I've been thinking about this for some time and I've decided it's probably for the best. If you're already on my friends list, you don't need to comment.
Hey Genesse! Ella W. from the quill. (Well, obviously. I'm not too skilled with this "creative username thing" :P) I hope you don't mind if I friend you.
At the top of the edit page, I set the date as in the future so it stays on top of all of my normal-dated posts, and then at the bottom of the edit page (around where you pick the icon for the post), I checked the "Backdate" box, so it doesn't keep popping up on my friends list. Let me know if it works for you!
I've been poking around, looking for an answer to your question. Your layout is done in the S1 old system, which I don't really know how to use. I did find this tutorial. Since you know how to change the links in the comments, I'm assuming that you understand a little how to do overrides. I'll try to explain this tutorial.
First of all, you need to list some kind of website as your website at this page under "Website URL". This tutorial will not work without that. If you don't have a website or an author/artist page of your own to pimp, I suggest using your own LJ as the website
