thank you. not to be arrogant, but basically because i'm too cool. all the bullshit about how they want interesting, diverse people, not just students... is just that. "Interesting" means a piece of paper that has a longer list of clubs. What the system actually assures is that many of the least interesting, most annoying, grade-obsessed assholes and/or bores will be the ones getting in. All types of people mean that they want either incredible grades, or incredible extracurriculars, and since I decided to have a life, I have neither.

But, sorry for the rant, I think. And yes, blah to the corporate world, and the idiocy it allows to run rampant, and the college selection process... people are stupid.

okay, no, really, no ranting. how ya doing? david duchovny is a good choice, he's quite cool.
