oh god i'm a horrible mother

Last night I woke up and Trey was on the floor...:(

He must have rolled off of the bed.

He didn't cry...

He was just laying there...

The moment I picked him up he let out a scream that sent me into immediate tears...

This was at 3 am and I couldn't go back to sleep...

I just cried...while he slept in my arms...

How could I let him get hurt?

Oh hunny, That happened to me with Faith. She fell out of my bed a few times. Your not a horrable mother. He's okay more then likely scared him when you picked him up.

You would be a horrable mother if you didn't care that he fell, you do and you are a awsome mom! ^^

I Co slept with Faith but not with Xander, after a few falls and sleeping so light that every little sound made me Jump I put Xander in his crib next to my bed so I can always check on him in the night but get somewhat of a restful sleep. LOL

Good luck with that one. I have been trying to put Aaliyah in her crib for a month now and she won't have it. She will wake up within 5 minutes of being put in the damn thing and start screaming. She *refuses* to sleep alone. Which makes my love life.. non existant. *sigh*

she sleeps in her bassenet and her stroller (she loves her stroller) alot so that she doesnt get used to just sleeping with me or in my arms, she will sleep in her bassenet but I want her close LoL

Aww, hon. Your so not a bad mom. Gah - my mom left me on the changing table for a minute to answer the phone, the first day I was home from the hospital, and I rolled off and fell to the floor. She was horrified! But look at the well adjusted person I turned out to be!!! LOL!!
Put the crib next to the bed, s'what my sister's done and what my mom did. Better nights sleep, your not waking yourself up going crazy, or every 10 minutes to make sure he's alright.
Either way, darlin', your a wonderful Mom. He's a lucky lucky baby.
