I adore, adore, adore how Mike is the voice of reason in this story. I just hope that he's really made Tre think about things regarding his relationship with Billie. And that Tre will act on these things.

And the last line. I lovelovelovelovelove the last line.

I love Mike in this and I'm so happy he brought this up, because it needed to be brought up.

I felt as if I betrayed Lisea, failed her. I was a lousy husband.

D: For some reason I really felt for Tre with that. He seems so sad that things can't work out well all around.

Billie shifted his position and I could see the profile of his face. His raven black hair was half-straighten, half naturally curled. His forehead completely smooth and wrinkle free as if nothing in the world troubled him. The dimly lit room highlighted his soft complexion, and the tips of my lips twitched when my eyes landed on his perfectly curved mouth. For the first time, I saw a peaceful, sincere smile carved onto his lips. He looked so goddamn peaceful and so goddamn beautiful.AND THIS. This! All of it. I really loved it and I hope seeing Billie like that when thinking about everything means that Tre will act on ( ... )

So jason is officially gone or what?I really miss him.
It's a great comfort that there's still someone Billie can really count on but now he's gone and even screwed with Mike who was Billie‘s so-called best friend in this world.
