Because The Killing is a murder mystery, I can't check how often Ladin will appear in the series. He had multiple scenes in the pilot. I'll try not to spoil anything.
Saw this last night but I have no idea how to do screencaps. I'm glad someone is on the ball!
Without his fake drawl he has a pretty funny voice
I'm not sure if it was mentioned on here or not but he also has a very small role on Mad Men. He plays Betty Draper's brother (he was in season one or two. I haven't seen the most recent season)
Did you like the show? I liked Eric's somewhat a-moral character, but on the whole the first ep didn't hold my interest like I wanted it to. I'm hoping it gets better. With Eric, Billy Campbell and Michelle Forbes, I WANT to like it.
Yes, I did. I really liked the two detectives. I think we are all so used to get to the crime solving (which happenes in a span of 30 min on most shows) that we get impatient. I've seen lots of these scenes before but I think it will get better.
I think I know what Eric's character will do but maybe there is going to be a surprise.
But Holder being the "cute cop"? Maybe it's the beard and his resemblance to this one guy from pirates of the Carribean (the one with the wodden eye) but I just don't see it. Oh, and he is Swedish. :P
Actually, I HATE solved in 30 minutes shows. I prefer the ones where investigations take an entire season (I'm just now on S5 of the Wire, yeah I know, I came late to THAT party.) I'm more than willing to give it an ep or two before I decide for sure. It's possible that I was just impatient with the first ep, because it did the necessary character introductions and established the crime we're going to be following for the duration. None of the characters have grabbed me yet, but I do admit the actors all have me watching closely.
I've never seen The Wire. ;) I'm not sure I would even understand it.
I hated all those school kids. The rich one is supposed to be a jerk but the other ones? Acting all a bit too casual about the death of a classmate. Are we really supposed to believe that there was a party in the basement of the school that everyone keeps quite about even though it was (perhaps) the scene of a crime? Nobody would speak up when asked by the police? They take their partying pretty serious.

I know. I saw him there and couldn't place him at first. But he didn't have many lines.

Yes, I feel that they already put him in a corner. And they weren't too subtle about it.
