GK timeline and beta request
So I needed a timeline for a fic I'm writing, and seeing as my google-fu was not up to the task of finding one more precise than HBO's, I put one together myself, and thought I'd post it here in case anyone else finds it useful.
Speaking of, I have about 7000 words of Colbert/Fick that I would love to have a beta look over. If anyone is willing I'll be eternally grateful! Please let me know in the comments.
I've attached dates from the book to events in the show. Where they are at irreconcilable odds I've marked with (B)ook and (S)how. Comments/corrections welcome, obviously.
Early Feb: flight to Kuwait
Episode One: Get Some
Feb-->mid March: Mathilda

April 15: Return to mosque with water
April 16: Given night mission to recon park; Fick refuses order to send men out
April 17: Colbert detonates unexploded ordinance
April 18: Final night in Baghdad spent in soccer stadium

April 22: Patterson refuses to send out men on minefield mission; Encino Man sends out Bravo Three; engineers blown up

The thing that struck me most was that episodes 3 and 5 cover less than 48 hours each and that breaks between episodes are rarely longer than a night, if that. It really drove home how continuous the action is and how little sleep the guys got.
