gamey - what is it?

And I don't mean the gamey smell of spoiled meat, or the gamey taste of wild game. Those of us who've frequented gaming forums on the internet have seen the term 'gamey' tossed around a bit. Yet a google search didn't turn up an real concrete definitions.

So - what IS gamey, and what do you think it means?

Er, no, though I know the type you're talking about. You forgot 'mouth breathing', 'corn fed', and 'slack jawed'.

I meant more in reference to abusing rules for the sake of winning, rather than winning based on clever play or superior tactics. For example, insisting that someone move that piece they just centered on its square without saying "j'adoube" first.
