Question, since you're in an area with a touch of the rural: do you get a lot of trouble from wild primates? I have heard horror stories of agressive theft, messmaking and destruction, and even bites.

While there are wild monkeys in India, there aren't wild monkeys in Mumbai, most just stray cats and dogs. Though the eagles are kind of cool.

Take it christmas isn't quite as big of a holiday over there?

Yeah since India is primarily Hindi, Divali is the biggest holiday. I'd say that even the Ganesh festival was bigger than than the Christmas decorations around here.
