[He's actually amazed his feet carried him over to sit next Saki. Come to think of it, he'd done very little for her. When she was traumatized by all those Squaares masks during the Halloween incident- all he'd done was go and burn the ones Aoba collected. He didn't talk with her about it. Comfort her, maybe, he tried to be there for her, but... ah.
