[ Shuri actually hasn't left his bed since he got home. Not sleeping, he hasn't managed to actually do that yet - but just lying under the comfort of the impenetrable blanket fort of comfort.

Today's weather isn't helping his desire to get out of bed. ]

[Too bad, the weather can be damned Masaomi is here to check on him.

Step one: knock on the front door.]

[Step two: get the wrong blond. Mikage opens the door, and his expression is friendly until he sees exactly who is waiting outside. At once he looks wary, on the very cusp of confrontational- oh, it's you.]

[...Oh, it's him. It's the other guy. His eyes narrow just a bit, actually, but he stands his ground because. Well]

I need to see Shuri-kun.

[Selphie's bedridden. Her injuries are no longer present thanks to some heavy duty healing from Ceodore but she's still very sick. If Masaomi finds her in the battle dome clinic, he'll likely have to wake her up somehow. At least she's not trying to escape.]

[Oh he is there - he actually was expecting Law to be here so when he sees Selphie in one of the bed he frowns. And then lurking and looming, he makes his way over to her]

[Masaomi will discover Selphie in the midst of a fever dream. The cloth that was covering her forehead has fallen onto the floor and her face is drenched in sweat. Her hands are gripping the blanket surrounding her in a white-knuckled grip. Eventually, Selphie will roll over onto her side as her eyes snap open.]

W-what...?

[Somewhere, somewhere beyond the hard and cold mood he is in right now he feels a twinge of something - sympathy, guilt? Both? He looks at her as he tosses and turns, allowing her to do that until she takes note of him. He concludes, idly, if she doesn't then he can come back later. Hell, maybe he'll be here with her, sick, by the end of the day.

When she does answer, his face - his mood too - is unmoved by the weakness in her voice]

Selphie-chan, I came to check on you.

[Watch, really. He could interrupt but this is Law... he's actually a little afraid of Law, and even though his mood is the worst it's been in a long time, he keeps his cool to watch it from this viewing window. When he comes out... well, when Law comes out he'll get him to know the information he needs.

...And maybe give him a medical once over. He lost a lot of blood out there, even if most of the wounds healed. And he feels a little sick, even if he's standing]

[And when he's out, well. A little to the side Masaomi is slow-clapping. He's actually right by Law's bag, looking a bit worse for wear (not to mention wet, given the weather). But a serious expression is on his face.]

[It's storming, which means she can't be out in her garden like she wants to be. She's feeling too twitchy to sit still. It's very quiet in the house. She's been sad and worried all day, though she's trying not to show it or let it affect her too much.

There are three stages to this. One, when she's bustling all around the house and cleaning things that don't really need to be cleaned. Two, when she falls asleep on the sofa in a rare depression-induced nap, and three... after dinner, when it's storming, Katara is going to go outside her house and practice stopping the rain.

In any and all of these stages, she'll be at home.]

[And he can make his way there - he does, mid-way through the day. He considers a moment... he could break in, he could knock on her window, but bother of those defeat his purpose and he doesn't have the energy. Plus, while it's not quite -storming- now as opposed to how it was earlier and will be later, it's still raining pretty hard and he's quite wet on top of being a tad ill.

[So right about then would be stage two, sleeping on the couch. A knock on the door is enough to rouse her, unaccustomed to naps as she is. She glances around blearily, and then makes her way to the door, rubbing absently at an eye and brushing down her sleep-mussed hair.]

Hell-- oh, Masaomi!

[He's back. He's safe. Good.

She instantly opens the door wide.]

You're soaked. Come on in.

[Frown, frown, worry, worry.] Where is your umbrella?

[He does come in. No umbrella... well. He's already sick. Which is amazing, he's an idiot, right? In a lighter mood than this he might have laughed. As is though, he just tugs at the edges of the ninja-vest he has on (now sporting a sizable hole from a stab he got in the draft) and leans against the door frame once inside]

I just came to see you.

[HE ignores her question entirely]

[Thankfully, Gold's recovered from his extreme exhaustion from the draft and has since returned home.

...His stinky, stinky home. Fuckdammit. Unfortunately, there aren't many ways to get rid of smell aside from eliminating the source and airing the place out, both of which he's doing. So all the windows and doors are wide-open right now, allowing the stench to dissipate.]

[...It does smell.

But Masaomi ignores that, leaning in one of the windows when he sees Gold. He doesn't... he can't come inside, which is why he's here during school hours.]

[Gold was sitting on the couch, staring at the TV when Masaomi poked his head in. His ears perked up at the sound of Masaomi's voice.]

...Oh, there you are. The hell you been, dude?
