[He sighs. He knows, and then she moves back into a sitting position right where he landed, gingerly willing the wound on his side not to bleed any more than it has. But that said...]

[The moment Aether speaks that last line a feeling of dread washes over her. Wound...? No no no, Masaomi isn't supposed to get injured, not when she's supposed to be protecting him! That comment of yours pretty much goes unnoticed, Kida, trying to push back that sense of failure as far as she could now was not the time to have a breakdown, not when he's hurt somewhere.]

There is nothing to understand about the cow. It was there and looked about as happy about their presence as I did, so we used each other for an agreeable outcome.
