yes! one of the cool things about dreamwidth is that you can automatically link to usernames on all sorts of websites and it generates the code to link to their profile, using pretty much the same markup as linking to lj users always has.
Yeah, the problem is I'm mostly on LJ out of loyalty; if I jumped sharks, I mean horses, it wouldn't be to DW. Nice touch though; I wish people actually were as good as open source culture hoped they'd be, & this seems like a place where they tried...
yeah, i hear you. i'm on lj for community & personal history, but the platform itself is aggravating. haven't seen another platform i like for posts of this length (and longer). tumblr is great but not where i want to put personal dithering, since content is uncoupled from creator so quickly (not an actual objection, just a comment). aso you know, i've been putting this shit on facebook, which is not positive for a laundry-list of reasons.
