I am very torn between two stories (unfortunately in two different fandoms) I've been working on but I'm fairly certain this is the one I plan to go ahead with...

Current Word Count: 9000 (but I have my story plan all written)
What I like about the story: The tropes I'm throwing in there, lots of things I haven't had a chance to write before.
What I don't like about the story: That I haven't written more. I have a couple of holiday gift fics to work on before I can get anymore of this written but I'm looking forward to seeing it come together.

I've started two stories and am still trying to decide which one I like better. For now, I'll list the one that's further along.

What I like about the story: The fandom's given me so much potential to work with, I love the characters (and the muses), and so far I'm trying taking it easy.
What I don't like about the story: The reason why I can't yet decide which of the two stories I like better is because I'm trying to figure out which of them I can finish in time. I've got all these ideas for scenes and the like floating around, that I've mostly written mini-scenes/drabbles (and working dialogues) and am going to string them together later on. I hope that works!
