whoa, do you know the title of the video about trans identity & black bloc / radical cheerleading?? it sounds really good, and i thought i'd seen most of the anarchist type videos out there ...
it was an installation, on three tv screens. it is called drag:riot/riot:drag and is by michelle something--i forget her last name. she is from portland (i believe--somewhere in oregon that i knew of, not eugene, so as best i remember it is portland).
it was 7 minutes long. super good.
i wish i hadnt left the screening early cos more amazing videos were going to be shown but it was taking so long--thru a third of the videos, it had already been 2.5 hrs.
but if you can somehow gain access to it, i definitely recommend it. i think maybe if you email anarchobook@yahoo.com (the organizers' email address) they might be able to give you more info abt her.
we just talked abt it a little bit at practice, but i couldnt really explain the movie so it didnt work too much.
