So, the below is in reference to Manhunt 2. What I find interesting is that it's coming out for the PS2, not the PS3, and the Wii. Two completely different generation consoles.
I was surprised (and thrilled) when I found out that Guitar Hero 3 is going to be released on the PS2. The PS2 is still selling well, from what I've seen- I read an article a while back that said it outsold any of the next gen consoles in March- so I'm not surprised Sony's still putting games out for it.
To clarify ('cause it sounded dumb when I re-read after posting) I was surprised Guitar Hero 3 would be out on the PS2, since they had previously said it would just be the next gen consoles. But I'm not surprised they're still supporting it. *nod*
Devin? You're always dumb. ;-) Even if I love you for it.
What I was surprised about wasn't that the game was for the PS2. I know that games are still coming out for that console. Hell, they're still coming out in Japan. It's that it was coming out for two different generation consoles. Usually when they do a game on multiple consoles, they do them on the same generation (unless, of course, they do a game for the handheld, too).
