silveraspen got me into the series, after a couple years of trying. I have my issues with Jordan's writing, which was what put me off it the first time I tried, but he writes darn good characters, and the world's complex enough for me to poke at, which is always fun. (And some of the most annoying parts of his writing style, I found, either got better or stopped annoying me after the first half or so of the first book.)

So, yeah. WoT fic. :)

I agree completely about the writing style, but I've never read any other fantasy where I care so damn much about the characters. I have tried to stop reading and I simply can't. NEED BOOK 12!!!!!
