The time has come once again, my friends, for Pinewoods! Which is to say, from tomorrow midday through the following week and weekend, I will be more or less completely incommunicado due to being off in the middle of the woods having a glorious time dancing my feet off. (Not literally. Even if I do have a pair of red shoes.) I'll have my cell

Well, they are standard Scottish ghillies, so they look like this! I also have a rather more tattered black pair, and a pair of what Scottish country dancers call ladies' pumps which are different from what everybody else calls pumps: voila. (Basically, much like a generic ballet shoe, except a one-piece sole that doesn't have the gathered leather under the toe.) I used to have a pair of purple pumps, but I can't find them. :(

If they weren't so expensive, I would have so many ridiculous colors. Alas, they have to be imported from the UK, which means exchange rates and stuff. *mournful*

All the same, one of these years I may give in and get a set of metallic pumps just to entertain myself. They have gold and silver! AS EVERYONE OBVIOUSLY NEEDS.
