Yes! The shelter picked it -- the vet, I think, actually -- but I like it lots, and thus am not going to change it. :D
I believe it's from an Isabel Allende novel; at any rate, there's an Isabel Allende novel by the same name about a girl who's an orphan, and this Eva Luna was found as a stray, so I think it fits.
*giggles* I was actually wondering if that was what it was; now I have started reading Isabel Allende and I was considering picking up the novel of hers by that name, and I was like 'huh! Coincidence!'
Maybe a kitty that got loose? I had a kitty that we thought was a boy until we discovered that it was a) a girl, and b) already spayed. I gave her to my neighbor, who now calls her Teena Tubesocks.
Yeah, quite possibly. She hadn't been spayed, though, and nobody seems to have come looking for her... I don't know if she got loose or was abandoned or what. I hope she doesn't have any people missing her out there, but I'm delighted we have her now!

I haven't read it yet! I intend to, now, for obvious reasons. But you must tell me what you think of it if you do, too.
