So my father has had Netflix for a while. And there is now a thing with a free month's trial for friends and family, so Sandry and I are giving it a try. (We may well keep it on at the lowest rate, at least for a while

Um! Hm. The Usual Suspects, which I rec to everyone, and also Arsenic & Old Lace. And and and, uh. Dead Like Me, which has two seasons of episodes and is possibly getting a movie, according to my roommate. Veronica Mars (for which I blame my roommate).
I keep hearing good things about this. Also, if you head this way, we'll have more opportunity to kill you and eat your br... I mean, spend time with a good friend. *big wide smile*
Oh, totally Marx Brothers. And! Something else: Bedazzled. Not the awful new one with Elizabeth Hurley, the old one with Peter Cooke and Dudley Moore. Genius.
Also, Charade, and The Lady Vanishes, and They Might Be Giants (the movie came long before the band, and is fantastic. About a man who believes he is Sherlock Holmes, and about possibility and imagination, and the quote is: "Why did Don Quixote tilt at windmills? Because they might be giants.")
Galipoli. I recommend it to everyone I can, it's a beautiful, beautiful movie that always leaves me feeling a bit too small inside my own skin at the end.

All of those sound good... I never saw Spinal Tap all the way through, and would like to.
For that matter, anyone seen Fear of a Black Hat? I hear good things about it, and think it'd be fun.
