Okay, so I cheated and went over to your LJ to read the rest the other day because I'm impatient. I did enjoy this though. It had an interesting ending, definately different than what I expected. I also really liked the prequel as well.

Hee. I was wondering if anyone would do that! *g*

Thank you! :) I'm trying to remember how I came up with the idea, but I'm drawing a blank.

I also really liked the prequel as well.
The prequel (not surprisingly) wrote itself...

Thank you so much for reading and your feedback! :)

Got started on this rather late in the game.

Neat fic; you took a story that's been told before, and re-did it with a neat twist. Brava!

I've recced this, by the way. Hope you don't mind.

Thank you! *g* My strength/handicap is that I can usually see a situation from every side. And I want Wesley to be remembered!

Mind??? I'm thrilled and very grateful!

(Incidentally this has a (long) sequel, but since it's primarily S/B I won't be posting it here.)

I hadn't read this before, and so it was a pleasure to sit here now and read it all the way through.

Aw, thank you for reading - and can it be really be *that* long since I first wrote it? Glad you enjoyed. :)

Great ending and not what I imagined. I like that they're not asking for help, for several reasons they don't want to drag the slayer army into their battles.

I like that all they want is for Wes to be properly remembered.

Yay! :) And thank you.

*nods* I don't think they'd ever blame the Slayers for not helping in NFA - it was their own, very private, fight.

I like that all they want is for Wes to be properly remembered.
Poor Wesley - I think he definitely deserves it!

I liked the ending, though I'm normally allergic to that usage of "hopefully"! The sense of properly "grown-up" Spike and Angel is really powerful, and it's good to see Giles shocked out of his complacent view of How The World Is Ordered.

What can I say - it was written more than two years ago. It'd probably be different if I did it today, but there you go. Glad you liked it though. :)

I love 'grown-up' Spike and Angel! Of course 'Maybe Someday' follows on from this fic, and I've just - today! - started the sequel to 'Maybe Someday'! Lots and lots of wonderful S/A interaction.

it's good to see Giles shocked out of his complacent view of How The World Is Ordered.
Rather. *g* Although it was a fine balancing act, since I didn't want Giles to sit there hitting himself over the head. Anyway - prequel to come still. :)

::grins:: It'll be a while before you get to see it though. It's going to be LONG and I'm going to write the whole thing down before I start posting. I even have a notebook with lots of notes. It's great!

Also very good news.
Hee. Tomorrow. Or maybe the day after...
