I promised to post some fic here, and since it's now the Easter holidays and I have some spare time I figured now might be a good time. This is one of my earliest stories, but I'm still very fond of it. I hope you like. And lots of thank you's to the mods for setting up and running this place! :)

"...you don’t need to be soulless to be a murderer, do you? ... See, we’re all part of the same exclusive club. ... So excuse us for our lack of manners.”
Oooh Dangerous Spike is back! Thank you for tackling the whole topic of being 'souled' and the choices that are made.

Thanks for remembering to bring this along. I've added some tags. Please tag it elisi: The Summer After from now on.

Wow. That was fast! (Although admittedly the chapter is very short...)

Gotta love him! :) And of course he's brought Dangerous Angel along too...

Hey, my pleasure. I hope you like where this ends up.

*Plenty* more where that came from! It's just a question of time!

And I shall duly tag!

Former-English teacher - I read fast.

How could I ever overlook him? Pets the broody bugger.

I hope you like where this ends up.
Wherever it ends, I'm always interested to read works that address neglected issues. Were you not tempted to write something for the general_buffy challenge?

I'm not a teacher, but I've always been an avid reader. My main problem is finding *time* for reading...

Hee! *pets them both*

Wherever it ends, I'm always interested to read works that address neglected issues.
Oh me too! (I think you should like most of the fic I'm going to post here... *g*) And I'm very good at resisting temptation... (Seriously, I've been working hard to get all my WIPs finished so I can start on the sequel to the sequel to this fic. It's going to be LONG!)

This is really interesting so far. Loved Angel's line about killing a dragon with his sword - it relates to NFA and gives Giles another reason to be freaked out. And yeah for the return of Big Bad Spike. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Thank you! :) When I wrote it, that first scene popped up in my head and wouldn't leave, so I had to try to work out where it led.

Angel the Dragon Slayer. Has a nice ring to it.

And yeah for the return of Big Bad Spike.
:)

Thank you for reading - part 2 coming tomorrow.

Ooooo this is good and creepy because they still have the souls but are bad asses. But why hurt Giles? He has not done anything to hurt them lately and what about the Slayers? They are not with Wolfram and Hart so what's the deal? I'm sure it will be somewhat explained in the next chapter though.

Hee! Exactly! :)

Well some of it anyway... I like to keep people guessing.

Thank you for reading!

Interesting start. I can well imagine that neither Spike nor Angel would harbor much love for Rupert at this point.

Indeed. I had a lot of fun with this!

Thank you for reading - and the feedback of course!

almost forgot:

But how was that possible? Buffy had told him that Spike’s soul had not been a curse... so it stood to reason that he could not loose it.
You mistyped "lose".

Thank you!!!! *hits self over head repeatedly*

(As I said this is an old fic... so old that I didn't even have a beta reader. Thank you again!)
