A fitting and not overly surprising end to Miss Edith's mistress ... but what struck me was that in that short space, I came to feel like I knew a lot about Tori! Great moment.

I like your use of the present tense. It pulls us into Tori's POV straight away. There's also a symmetry in the construction of the drabble, beginning and ending with the focus on that glass eye.
