Well, that’s part of the business, isn’t it?

Well, Faith is just full of empathy, as always.

Enjoying this so much - thanks for updating.

Well, in her defense, Robin did jump on her in a hurry -- and not in the way she had in mind. Who knows? Maybe she did have a perfectly good reason for going out on the town while he was gone and getting all those under-21 slayers drunk? Hm ... put that way, not so much. :-)

Yay! The Buffybot enters the tale. And I see Robin and Faith are still an item, well sort of...

Yes, sort of ... I have a bad habit of not changing relationships as they were established at the end of "Chosen". In my universe they're still together, partially because they spend so much time working apart that they haven't had a chance to get on each other's nerves. However, in my universe the other slayers and watchers have started a pool, betting on how long they'll last, so you're not the only one to express surprise. :-)

More Buffybot yay! More ignoring Andrew. Perhaps not so yay! but to be expected. :) Love the interaction between Faith and Robin.

Faith and Robin will always have a, shall we say, volitile relationship. :-) As for poor Andrew, he'll eventually come into his own, if someone doesn't kill him first.

How very Faith and how very Robin ("Remember son it's all about the mission!") PERFECT voices. Really looking interesting with the poor Bot desperate to communicate (I feel so sorry for her...I like her), glad she has company who understands a little or at least cares.

Excellent.

Some people think Robin's youthful experiences make him a perfect match for Faith; I rather think the opposite, that his intensity and her live for the day outlook will cause a lot of friction. But the friction is too much fun to split them up!

I like Bottie too; I can assure you that, one way or another, you'll see her again.

Andrew’s eyes bugged out. “It’s alive! It’s alive!”

Bwahaha! I can actually picture this scene in living color and detail. How disturbing is that? *g*

And then you broke my heart with this: When he turned back, Robin discovered the Buffybot was holding Kara’s hand. It was trying to talk, and looked terrified. “It’s okay,” Kara soothed. “You’ll be better soon.” The young slayer turned back to Robin and lowered her voice. “She doesn’t know she’s just a mechanism. Go ahead, I’ll stay with her.”

Poor Buffybot! It reminded me somewhat of Dawn curling up next to the recharging Bot on the wibble scale.

Oooh! Robin trying to get all bossy and take-charge-y with Faith! Ha! Like that would work!

Still enjoying this very much - and I hope you don't mind that I friended you?

Hee -- I was picturing that in my miind, too! :-)

Sometimes Robin doesn't know when to pick his battles, but in his defense he's had a *really* hard week. Still, he should know better by now! He was smart enough to realize Kara shouldn't let herself start thinking of a machine as a person, but obviously that didn't get him very far, either.

Friend away! I haven't been posting all that much lately, but more is coming down the pike, here and there.
