Best. First. Kiss. Ever.

I'm still reeling from the awesomeness of this episode.  I can't seem to get the LJ cut to work here, after several attempts, so needless to say this post is spoilery for those who've not yet seen Merlin S2E2, "The Once and Future Queen",  my apologies at being LJ inept.  :(

What? They kissed? Already? Um... what episode of the new season are we into? Because I really wouldn't have expected that for quite some time...

This is the second episode. But it worked, and you'll see at the end of the episode why it works so well. The entire episode is just very bittersweet. I didn't mean to spoil anyone, perhaps an LJ cut and a warning is in order, I'm sorry!

The acting here is brilliant too. They pulled it off well.

ETA: After several failed attempts I can't seem to get the cut to work. I'll put a spoiler warning up top. Ugh. Sorry bout that.

I do too! I must have watched their scenes at least ten times. Thank God for YouTube, and kind-hearted Brits who post these for us! LOL

It's very well done. Fluff and crack and cheese, but awesome. Compared to Smallville, Merlin is Shakespeare. Haha. It aires on BBC One, so us poor Americans have to wait until the kind-hearted British souls who take pity on us, upload links for us to watch.

Also? They give us a 'ship worth 'shipping. In fact, I find it odd to 'ship a ship that's actually a ship for a change! LOL

NBC picked up the first season and showed it over the summer. I have no idea if they plan to pick it up for the second season. In any case I can't wait till next summer to watch season 2, so YouTube and streaming links it is! LOL

I really wish BBC America would pick it up, that would be great. :)

I just noticed I spelled "aires" wrong from your quote! Haha. :)

Arthur/Gwen is so bittersweet, since in this version they've made her a servant, and not a princess. Oh, the angst... and longing looks. *sigh*
