I absolutely LOVE this story and the harsh details have been fabulous. But I am in serious need of some escape and making up. Very hard stuff to read. Great though, just hoping for a tiny bit of not so awful for a minute, and of course excellent happiness at the end and of course for Lex to get his comeuppance... Tess too, I mean she got saved and this is how she repays her saviors, knew Chloe should have let her die (but then I am not that big on the high moral ground... ohwell)... keep up the great work and can't wait to read more.

Gosh gen, this was gut wrenching. You do this so very well. This story captures you and doesn't let up, to many great things to quote,

“My brains, your brawn,” she sighed wearily, feeling more debilitated as he seemed to gain more strength.

That is such a perfect line.... Keep it up...

WOW!!! That was intense!!!

Gotta say that I love Lex being all evil!! And none of that back and forth. Also lots of kudos for evil Tess!!! You are writing them better than the show!!

The Chlollie was awesome. Trying to be tough, talking about babies and the bantering. Now get them out of there!!

I like when villains are EVOL, but with purpose, not wishy washy like on the show. Things are turning around now, and they'll be out soon!

Oh my stars and garters (I rewatched X-Men 3 tonight), you're certainly putting them through the wringer in this story! I ache for them...I didn't think there would be any way possible for Chloe to see Ollie suffering and NOT heal him. but it was nice to see Philip get what's coming to him at the end of the chapter.

Oliver smiled. “You know what they say. Behind every great man….”

“Is a woman rolling her eyes?”

I don't even remember where I heard or saw that little phrase before, but it stuck with me because it was funny. And it's totally something Chloe would say.

Hey! Thanks for informing me about the new chapter. I've added you to my f-list to make sure that I don't miss any others. Hehe.

This was so intense. I love it! Truth be told, I'm primarily a Chlark shipper but Chlollie is a guilty pleasure. You write the pairing so well and after the recent Smallville episodes, I can really see them getting together. Looking forward to more! :D

You're welcome! I've been a Chlarker since season 1, but the show has really taken the wind out of my sails to be honest. Chloe is the heroine of the story, IMO, and she deserves her own hero, so I'm giving her Oliver. Or really, I'm giving Chloe to him. LOL you get it.
