Hehe. Clark is merely going by what Oliver's behavior had been before Chloe entered the picture in Chapter 1. After that, he hasn't picked up anyone. :)
Your such a great writter love the Oliver/Chloe pairing..I never really did like him with Lois or her with Jimmy..The two of them share the others secert it helps if you have someone who knows everything about you and still says that's the one for me..
Not a good idea to kiss him, the timing was completely wrong, he was emotionally vulnerable, and so was she. The past with Jimmy, Lois and a host of other reasons, too numerous to list made it completely wrong.
haaa, chloe, in the longterm, you stand no chance!!
I absolutely have to tell you, how much in love i am with your clark here! here is the bestest friend EVARRR; and i love how protective he is of chloe! that should really, really teach ollie to think about this very, very carefully! if you screw up, and hurt chloe , we are all going to "STAB YOU"!!
Nope, she doesn't stand a chance against Oliver of course! I'm so glad you like what I'm doing with the characters. Thanks so much for reading and leaving your thoughts! *hugs*
Knowing how wonderful our Smallville writers are with continuity, I'm sure they'll forget, but I think since Oliver is going to be a regular, it would be a good thing to explore a bit or at least mention. Half the time I don't know what the writers are thinking, but hey.. that's why there's fanfic, so we can fix all of their mistakes! LOL
Poor Oliver! I think Clark needs to work on his timing. Loved Clark and Oliver's conversation as well as the Chlollie. Looks like both Clark and Oliver need to watch out for Davis. He seems be getting obsessed with Chloe. Awesome chappie. Hope to see more soon.
The memory of his parents’ death, and the small boy who’d endured it, flooding back, threatening to wash him away in a tidal wave, but for this woman in his arms; his lifeline.
Poor Ollie. This whole passage made my heart hurt for him.
I loved the exchange between Clark and Oliver, as well. Protective!Clark is one of my favorites, especially when it's for Chloe.
"She smiled up at him, and then Queen leaned down and pressed his lips to her forehead, just before Clark entered the room carrying three glasses. Davis’s blood ran hot at the sight of them. He blinked, shaking his head to clear it, remembering that he was standing there in nothing but a cardboard box and that he’d better get home before someone noticed him."
I have to say that I just adore the way you write Davis, as well. In every sentence, you can sense the danger in him, but at the same time you feel sorry for him because you know he literally can't help it, and is just as afraid of himself as his victims probably are.
