My gaming marathon is over and we did really well, but I want to take a quick moment to discuss one of the primary games I played. I enjoyed it for the story, for the graphics, but honestly I want to punch the writer for the main character.

I agree that the whole supposedly 'strong' female character that had to be saved all the time got old..very fast. The whole time I was saying 'You have all these abilities..just do it yourself!'

Instead of the writers asking 'how do I write a strong female character?" they should have asked themselves 'how do I write a strong character?'. Just write a well-rounded, deep character first..the sex/race/religion/sexuality of a character should be secondary and not the focus of how you write them.

I suppose I should be glad that I missed out on most of this game, though it would be interesting to see it fail on making a strong lead character.
