Sawyer was supposed to be looking at the expensively-dressed woman, not the handsome caramel-skinned man with her. He didn't usually go for guys-not that he hadn't, but women were usually more gullible-especially not when he had his eyes on a not unattractive female mark like her, but there was something about this guy that kept drawing his eye

After some minutes more of the looks, not to mention the hands thing, Sawyer had just about had enough. He was almost at the point of abandoning the girl by his side to move across the room when Ali seemed to move differently. Sawyer had just casually asked the girl for her phone number for no real reason other than a distraction from replying to whatever she'd just asked him-which for the life of him he couldn't recall now-when he realised Ali was taking his leave. Miss Flirty was writing something down on a napkin now, so Sawyer took the moment to watch Ali openly

I love them flirting across the room like this, with nothing but looks and dirty thoughts. The way that Sawyer focuses on things like Sayid's hands playing with the chain and his lips when he kissed the woman's hand worked really well. And I love that woman that gave Sawyer Sayid's phone number. Smart girl. I'm sure they both appreciated it by the end of the night. Thank you so much for this ♥
