Getting to watch the crowning/birth-push in person, though? WOAH! Female bodies are ASTOUNDING!

I had a flashback to my Father in Law who was proud of his kidney stone...
.... while I was watching my bestie push through the crowning after 26 hours of contractions...

...and I had the passing thought,"Men are ADORABLE, really."

Also... 26 hours of being awake and in rolling staggering pain can never be quick enough!

I like that other people have babies, too! For them and for me to enjoy them enjoying babies! (I do not gravitate to babies in the slightest)

My niece (she's turning 6 on the 20th!) is one of my favorite people. But not when she was a baby. I didn't want to hold her except when my sister and I would strap her to my chest and take a walk on the boardwalk. Toddlers are prime time though!

Oh yeah.... once they are 2-3... they start getting REALLY interesting to me! And then 4-5+.... until they hit their mid-teens, we get along FAMOUSLY. Once they start being able to communicate with words, and saying what is happening in their head and... really letting their personalities out I AM IN LOVE!

Babies are... sweet... sweet-sized, sweet-smelling, sweet-faced... but.. they're not my "jam".
