I thought you had Portable HD? If it's music don't forget you shared with me. I am up to 162g worth. Slowly transferring Records to MP3. Royal Pain in Butt. I am good at it now. Up to Stix. End in Sight.

I just bought the new laptop and was moving everything over from my portable HD (my copies of everything as I condense my computers and files) but hadn't MOVED most of it yet, assuming I had all the time in the world to do so and stupidly relying on my backup to be perfect while I put off copying its trove onto my new compy.

Carissa has copies of a good depth of my music, and lots of it is on CDs Ill just have to rip/tag again. Life is ok. It was mainly my 10 years of writing and photographs that hurt the most.
But, petals in the wind... or something to that effect.

Congratulations on the theater gig. The Big Lebowski on a big screen is always good.

As for the hard drive.. not awesome. :(

If you haven't been using it since then, you might still be able to restore a lot of the files with a data recovery tool.

Carissa wiped it and uploaded her collection to it.. she thought it was her backup (my backup's backup) and not the only home for my sweet preciouses.

Its ok. Life goes on.
Also, I am too elated to care about stuff that is just stuff right now. Thanks!

Just say when and you can have your music and lots more. I think I am up to 164g now. Been busy converting Albums to MP3. 5 a day. Almost DONE!

In the T's. 3/4 Done or more! Plus I have updated my storage to NAS Device with 4T of Storage (Dlink DSN-323). So it spared 2 USB Hard Drives.

I need day notice to update the device with all the latest.
