One of the fans in my computer is doing the same thing only after a little while it goes completely silent, (meaning it's stopped), and I can't get it started again unless I turn my computer completely off and then back on. Reseting it doesn't even work. It's really frustrating because it means one of two things, either it's clogged up with dirt or it's starting to go bad and needs to be replaced.

Apparently you're not just making up this affair business. A couple people on the SDMB noticed it too. I wasn't decoding any of this magical subtext during the first few minutes in the cabin, I was just bored. ;)

Not much subtext in the cabin.. that was more character intros, getting to know everyone there and WHY everyone was there.

The subtext was mostly in the first scene right after they get out of the rapids between the boat and the car when her husband is killed. First 5 minutes of the movie!

Pah, you thought I was making stuff up when I was just being intuitive, empathetic and payign close attention to what was going on.. tsk tsk. You should know by know that I'm pretty good at reading social situations and subtext. Hehe

Oh, here's the original ending. Supposed to make a little more sense.

That is SUCH a better ending!! Do studios TRY to ruin everything in America??

Maybe. I've just decided that studios have recognized our great need for closure. Even though the UK ending makes so much more sense.

Honestly, it seemed rather quick for Juno's ghost to show up. Even if it was only an illusion for Sarah. *scrunchy face*

I honestly didn't like the movie. There were a coupld of good jumpy parts, bot overall. . .dislike. Teko's description was right: A bunch of girls go into a cave and they all die. The end. *shrugs*

I give it 6 out of 10 stars. very good visuals, very good feeling of c(h?)lostrophobia, and did a good job of making me stressed. It wasnt SCARY.. but it was pretty good. I liked it more than I EVER liked The Ring... which was creepier but used too many boring movie tactics to get scares out of people.. and whose story sucked even more, I thought. Hehe

If so it does not have CPU fan per say. Ducted fan If I remember. 92mm I bet. Open it up and let me know. Blow out the bunnies. It could be power supply fan.

It will burn up the computer at some point. Hey it's old and time for it to go.

Power Supply? Could be. Something is whirring badly and near-death-i-ly... that is all I know.
