There's a GREAT "This American Life" segment on a voicemail service that allowed people to confess their secrets anonymously. They played some on air. Some were funny confessions, and some were sad. Like the guy who had accidentally smothered his baby sister as a kid and his parents thought she did of SIDS. He had a horrible guilt about it, as you can imagine.
