Killer on the UW campus this past Monday

WEDNESDAY: Nutty people out there, I tell ya.

Here’s the article from the Seattle Times about the UW shooting.

I’m sure there will be more news about it. I can’t imagine the state of the ex-girlfriend’s family.

So many sad aspects to this tragedy:

- The fact that a 26 y.o. would get involved with a shady, rude 41 y.o. w/ body odor b/c he's "charismatic".

- The friends she came crying to and she asked to serve him the protective orders if they saw him, dismissed her with, "There's no need to be so scared..."

- She did everything she could to protect herself (fleeing him & moving out when he got violent with her, attempting to serve a restraining order, alerting police, alerting UW police, etc).

- Justice is not served b/c he conveniently shot himself.

... to name a few.
