in my consumer behavior class we were trying to put coffee into a category such as: security, individuality, power, reward, etc. No one knew which category to put it under because for different ppl coffee stands for something different. I think for some ppl it's social status (ex: now I drink coffee because my co workers do), and others security and comfort. Although no one really thought of sex when they thought of coffee, haha, good one.

Of course sex sells. I just wouldn't go to one of these places to get my java! Not even if they were shirtless hot boys pulling espressos! The people going are probably pathetic men in sexless marriages or horny teenagers who aren't going to tip much anyway. I wonder how many straight women pick up coffee there
