"You should have been here yesterday" - you could make it an ongoing series for a lot of hobbies, not just the spotter ones either!
Hell, it sounds like the tours that go around saying 'oh, that is the house that So'n'So lived in 5 years ago, and that is the hotel room that X died in' and so on and so forth.
